South Korea 1988 -
Photographs made for magazines in the Netherlands.
In Japan: series about the disciplined and burdensome Japanese schoolsystem, where the children spend a great deal of time to learn the language and particularly the writing. The often expensive private schools are more strict and disciplined than the public schools and uniforms are more standard. But as severe as the schoolsystem may be, the Japanese children like to romp around as much as anywhere in the world.
I added a few photographs taken in South and North Korea.
